Seoul International Music Institute (hereinafter referred to as “SIMI”) values your satisfaction and strives to ensure a positive learning experience. This Refund and Returns Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds and returns are handled. By enrolling in our courses, you agree to adhere to this policy.
2. Course Enrollment and Payment
2.1 Enrollment Confirmation
Upon successful payment, you will receive an enrollment confirmation email, granting you access to the course materials on the specified start date.
2.2 Payment Methods
Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, or other payment methods as specified on our website. All transactions are processed securely.
3. Refund Eligibility
3.1 Before Course Commencement
If you wish to withdraw from a course before its official start date, you may be eligible for a refund, subject to the following conditions:
- A written request for withdrawal must be submitted to support@seoulimi.com at least 7 days prior to the course start date.
- An administrative fee of 10% of the total course fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
3.2 After Course Commencement
Once the course has commenced, no refunds will be issued. The course is considered to have commenced on the date access to the course materials is granted.
4. Non-Refundable Circumstances
4.1 Course Commencement
No refunds will be provided under any circumstances once the course has started. This includes scenarios where the student has not accessed the course materials.
4.2 Access Granted
The date on which access to the course materials is provided marks the commencement of the course, and refunds will not be entertained post this date.
4.3 Technical Issues
Refunds will not be issued for technical issues related to the student’s hardware, software, or internet connectivity.
4.4 Failure to Complete
No refunds will be granted for students who fail to complete the course or do not utilize the course materials.
5. Special Circumstances
5.1 Medical Emergencies
In cases of medical emergencies, a partial refund may be considered at the discretion of SIMI. Documentation such as a medical certificate must be provided. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
5.2 Force Majeure
In the event of a force majeure (natural disasters, war, pandemics, etc.), SIMI reserves the right to modify its refund policy. Decisions will be communicated to affected students.
6. Refund Process
6.1 Request Submission
To request a refund, email support@seoulimi.com with your full name, course details, and the reason for the refund request.
6.2 Processing Time
Refund requests will be reviewed and processed within 30 business days of receipt. Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method.
6.3 Notification
You will receive an email notification once your refund request has been processed, indicating whether the refund was approved or denied.
